With the help of Rotary Club of Dhaka Buriganga (RCDB), DSK Hospital is offering safe normal deliveries at free of cost. For this purpose, DSK and RCDB agrees under an MoU. The Safe Normal Delivery (NVD) project is a delivery project under the guidance of highly experienced gynecologists, midwives and other necessary supportive staffs and equipped with contemporary machineries where the mother and baby will get an environment of healthy and free from complications during and after the childbirth process. The following are some factors to provide a safe normal delivery:

  • Antenatal Care: Regular antenatal care (at least 4 ANC as per the govt. rules), including regular check-ups and monitoring of the mother’s health and the baby’s development, can help identify and address any potential health concerns early on.
  • Skilled Birth Attendants/ Midwives: DSK Hospital is furnished with skilled birth attendants/ midwives and obstetricians, who can provide necessary care and assistance during labor and delivery, including monitoring the mother and baby’s vital signs, providing pain management, and managing complications if they arise.
  • Counselling Adequate Nutrition during pregnancy period: Adequate nutrition is crucial for the health of both the mother and the baby. Counselling and suggestion for a balanced diet that includes essential nutrients can help ensure a healthy pregnancy and delivery.
