DSK Hospital, a healthcare project of Dushtha Shasthya Kendra (DSK) was established in 1999 with financial assistance from the Swiss Red Cross (SRC) to provide secondary healthcare services to the poor and low-income communities at an affordable cost. Initially, it was a 15 bedded hospital in a rental venue, now it’s a 28 bedded general hospital running in DSK’s own building at Shyamoli, Dhaka. The hospital is licensed and approved under concerned Government Ministries and departments such as the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) and the Directorate of Narcotics Control.
Our hospital is staffed by a team of highly qualified and experienced doctors, nurses, technologists, and support staff who work together to provide the best possible medical care to our patients. We are dedicated to treating each patient with respect, compassion, and personalized attention and making their healthcare experience as comfortable and stress-free as possible.

- Outdoor Department (OPD): Our Outdoor department is staffed by a team of 3 regular consultants, visiting consultants of different specialties, and 7 general practitioners who provide medical attention to patients.
- In-Patient Department (IPD): Our IPDs are equipped with modern facilities and staffed by highly trained healthcare professionals who provide clinical care to patients with various medical conditions. There are around 50+ visiting consultants who are consulting our Indoor patients.
- Operating Theatres: Our operating theatres are equipped with contemporary technology and equipment to perform a wide range of surgical procedures, including minimally invasive surgeries.
- Diagnostics: We offer a wide range of diagnostic services, including X-rays, echocardiography, ultrasound, and laboratory tests.
- Pharmacy: Our in-house pharmacy is stocked with a wide range of medications, ensuring that our patients have access to the medications they need for their treatment.
